The benefits of dairy
Kiwis have long considered dairy foods to be an essential part of their daily diet. Yogurt, milk, cheese and ice cream all provide protein, are the best source of calcium and also contain a range of vitamin A and B12, riboflavin, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium, and zinc.
Calcium is important for strong teeth, bone strength and density. It helps to prevent osteoporosis and some research suggests that calcium may help prevent heart disease.
